Thompson TCR 22; Buyer’s Guide

If you take a very close look at the TCR 22, and you are a 22 lr nerd like me, it won’t take long to see that it closely resembles the Ruger 10/22 action….only better.

After all, the 10/22 is and has been the icon of the rimfire world for years and for good reason. It is the most consistent performer on the market. You can’t improve on perfection so why try.

Or can you. Most shooters will start with a standard issue 10/22 and add / replace components to yield a tack driver that more often than not ends up as a completely new rifle with only the action / reciever having he original parts.

I have seen people invest more than $2500 arriving at just the right combination of components to meet their desires.

The Thompson T/CR22 comes right out of the box with most features serious rimfire shooters are looking for.

Thompson Center Arms, T/CR22, Semi-automatic, Rifle, 22 LR, 17″, Blue, Magpul, Right Hand, 1 Magazine, TC-101 Red/Green Dot Sight Included, TC Rifle Case, TC Rifle Sling, Threaded, 10Rd, Fiber Optic Front Sight

The Thompson/Center T/CR22 rifle delivers exceptional out-of-the-box performance through a feature set that appeals to both recreational shooters and hunters.

The T/CR22 includes a green fiber optic front sight and adjustable rear peep sight for quick target acquisition, while the built-in picatinny-style rail allows for the mounting of an optic for precision shooting at longer ranges.
